Digital Marketing Specialist – Photography Industry Job Summary The Digital Marketing Specialist will plan and execute online marketing strategies to promote photography services, build brand awareness, attract clients, and increase bookings. This role focuses on visual storytelling, social media growth, and performance-driven digital campaigns tailored to the photography market. Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing & Strategy Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns aligned with photography brand goals Create monthly content and campaign calendars Analyze trends in the photography and creative industry Social Media Management Manage platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, linkedin and YouTube Plan and publish engaging visual content (photos, reels, behind-the-scenes, edits) Grow audience engagement, followers, and inquiries Collaborate with photographers for content creation Content & Branding Write captions, blog posts, email newsletters, and promotional content Maintain consistent brand tone and visual identity Highlight portfolios, client stories, and photography packages Paid Advertising & Promotions Run and optimize paid ads (Meta, Google, Instagram) Promote photo shoots, seasonal offers, workshops, and exhibitions Track ROI and campaign performance Website & SEO Optimize photography websites for search engines (SEO basics) Improve landing pages for bookings and inquiries Manage Google Business Profile and online reviews Analytics & Reporting Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics and social insights Prepare monthly performance reports Adjust strategies based on data and audience behavior Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in digital marketing or social media management Strong understanding of visual content and branding Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest marketing Basic understanding of SEO and paid ads Excellent writing and communication skills Creativity and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working with photographers or creative brands Familiarity with Adobe tools, Canva, or photo editing software Knowledge of influencer marketing and collaborations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Growth in followers and engagement Increase in website traffic and inquiries Booking and lead conversion rates Paid ad performance metrics
