Job Description

About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Senior Manager/AVP – Digital Marketing to lead SEO and SEM efforts for specific verticals within the bank. This strategic role requires deep expertise in search marketing, the ability to drive organic and paid growth, and strong collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.


Responsibilities


SEO & SEM Strategy & Execution


  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and SEM strategies aligned with business goals for assigned verticals.
  • Own performance KPIs including traffic, conversions, CPL, CAC, and ROI from search channels.
  • Ensure alignment of landing pages, keyword strategy, content, and bidding tactics across campaigns.


Agency & Stakeholder Management


  • Work closely with digital marketing agencies to plan, execute, and optimize SEO and paid search campaigns.
  • Coordinate with product, content, compliance, analytics, and marketing team to enable high-performing campaigns.
  • Act as the central point of contact between agency partners and internal stakeholders.


Performance Analysis & Reporting


  • Track and analyze SEO/SEM campaign performance using Adobe Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, and other tools/platforms.
  • Share regular performance reports and actionable insights with business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for experimentation, A/B testing, and continuous improvement.


Compliance & Governance


  • Ensure all campaigns meet compliance, legal, and brand guidelines of the bank.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for campaign strategies and optimizations.


Relevant Experience


  • 7–10 years of digital marketing experience, with a strong focus on SEO and SEM.
  • Proven track record of delivering performance-driven campaigns in BFSI or similar regulated industries.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, etc.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture, technical SEO, landing page optimization, and bid strategies.


Skills & Qualifications


  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field.
  • Google Ads and Adobe Analytics certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with performance tracking dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau) is an advantage.
