As an experienced DevOps Lead at our company, you will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and optimization of our DevOps processes and infrastructure. Leading a team of engineers, you will ensure smooth CI/CD workflows, scalable cloud environments, and high availability for all deployed applications. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the DevOps team and define best practices for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and infrastructure automation. - Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Manage and optimize cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for cost, performance, and security. - Oversee monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). - Implement and enforce security, compliance, and governance policies in cloud environments. - Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery. - Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues. - Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve system efficiency and reliability. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial capacity. - Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). - Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). - Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with version control (Git), artifact repositories, and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary). - Solid understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, and security protocols. In addition, the company prefers candidates with the following qualifications: - Certifications (e.g., Azure Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD). - Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, SOC2). - Exposure to observability platforms and chaos engineering practices. - Background in agile/scrum.
