Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stack. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-efficient systems while driving automation, scalability, and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and tracing tools.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure across AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
• Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Build and maintain automation for deployment, scaling, and recovery using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, replication, and backup strategies.
• Apply networking and security best practices to maintain reliable and compliant systems.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to establish SLAs/SLOs and ensure high service reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and production operations.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, Ansible, Chef.
• Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK; exposure to Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Database knowledge: PostgreSQL or similar systems.
• Ability to manage multiple incidents and prioritize under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect / AWS DevOps Engineer certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience in distributed tracing and multi-cloud environments.
