Role ** DevOps Engineer Required Technical Skill Set ** Ansible + jinja2 templates, Terraform, Python,New relic,Linux/Unix, Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD, Nginx/IIS, Varnish/REDIS, RabbitMQ, MySQL, AWS services: EKS, Elastic cache, Elastic search, Amazon MQ, AWS Lambda, Elastic beanstalk Desired Experience Range ** 4 + years of relevant experience Location of Requirement: Chennai Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have ** 1. Strong knowledge in building and configuring Magento e-commerce websites. 2. Strong knowledge in Ansible + jinja2 concepts. 3. Experience in Terraform. 4. Strong knowledge and hands on in AWS services like EKS, Elastic beanstalk, AWS lambda. 5. Excellent working on service such as NGINX/IIS, Varnish, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, RabbitMQ and REDIS. 6. Jenkins CI/CD pipeline setup using groovy . 7. Proficiency with GIT/AWS/Jenkins Pipelines. 8. Knowledge on installation/configuring MySQL database. 9. Strong Linux/ Unix knowledge. 10. Strong in Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS 11. Knowledge on scripts – Shell,ANT 12. Ability to make appropriate technical decisions 13. General understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, active directory, remote access tools, Good-to-Have 1. Excellent Witten & Verbal Communication skills. 2. Experience with agile/scrum methodologies SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role Implement and extend high availability hosting infrastructure using tools. Troubleshooting a mix of issues on production environments hosted various ways. Developing improvements to internal infrastructure supporting various systems. Working with the development teams to Implement Devops principles, practices and methodologies Ability to maintain, debug modules and the applications they support Ability to function independently and see what needs to be done. Enhancements to the existing e-commerce application. Perform the application monitoring and support. Ability to make appropriate technical decisions regarding new requirements. Handling Daily handover calls/ Status call/Client call. Lead and technical coordination for the major production incidents to restore the application. Deployment of any changes to production Resolution of any infrastructure related issues at system level Continuous monitoring of processes and escalate to operational manager on any real issues Reporting on regular basis to relevant teams on application and service stability Automating monitoring based on the feasibility Respond and resolve the system level tickets Responsible to build the nonproduction environments Show more Show less
