Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable DevOps solutions.
Lead efforts in automating deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure provisioning.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience across environments.
Drive best practices in cloud security, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps processes and tools.

Requirements

10+ years
of relevant industry experience with a strong DevOps background.
Proficiency in major cloud platforms, with preference for
Azure
(Google Cloud, AWS also acceptable).
Expertise in
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Packer.
Strong knowledge of configuration management and secrets management (Consul, Vault, KMS systems).
Deep understanding of
Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, Alerting, and ITSM practices
(Change, Knowledge & Incident Management).
Advanced experience with
containerization
(Docker, ContainerD, Kubernetes – K8s, K3s) and container registries (Artifactory, GCR, ACR, ECR).
Proven experience in administration and optimization of Kubernetes clusters.
Strong understanding of
microservices principles
, API Gateway technologies, and event-driven architecture (Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc.).
Familiarity with
serverless services
(Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, etc.).
Proficient in
cloud networking
(VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls/WAFs, security groups).
Strong expertise in
cloud security best practices
, IAM, encryption, and SAST/DAST tooling (CrowdStrike, Qwiet.AI, Prisma Cloud, etc.).
Hands-on experience with
monitoring/logging tools
(AWS CloudWatch, EFK/ELK, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic).
Skilled in using diagramming tools (Miro, Diagrams.net, Figjam, Mermaid.js).
Bachelor’s Degree
in Computer Science or equivalent field.
