DevOps Engineer - Java

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Work closely with Java developers to ensure smooth application integration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Implement and manage containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for Java microservices.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security using modern observability tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development and understanding of JVM-based applications.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and API integrations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, or Groovy).
• Strong debugging, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kafka, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Security best practices in DevOps (secrets management, IAM, etc.).
