Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications on the mainframe platform using COBOL.
  • Work with relational databases (e.g., DB2) to manage data operations and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and execute JCL jobs and support batch processing activities.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with mainframe systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for mainframe applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow development best Skills :
  • Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies.
  • Proficiency in COBOL programming.
  • Experience working with mainframe databases (e.g., DB2, IMS DB).
  • Familiarity with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe utilities.
  • Good understanding of batch and online to Have :
  • Experience with tools like File-AID, Abend-AID, or Endeavor.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies.
