DevOps Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a DevOps Engineer located in Hyderabad, responsible for Infrastructure as code (IaC), Software Development, Continuous Integration and System Administration. The DevOps Engineer will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure, facilitating continuous integration, and ensuring system administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize the implementation of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD initiatives
• Lead the team in the monitoring and operation of the test and production cloud environments
• Implement DevSecOps practices to automate and secure operation and changes to the cloud infrastructure
• Manage releases and changes according to companies change management process
• Lead the DevOps team in the support to incidents according to companies incident management process
• Assist in managing the enterprise technology systems, such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Atlassian Jira & Confluence Role specific technical competencies
• Experience in leading DevOps team across multiple geographic locations
• Experience in AWS infrastructure design, setup and operation
• Experience/knowledge in Microsoft Azure is an added advantage
• Experience in leading Infra as Code implementation using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Experience in leading Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) implementation
• Experience in defining and enhancing processes around release management, problem/incident/event management
• Experience/Knowledge in system administration
• Ability to research and adopt new technologies to provide the infrastructure support across technology domains such as Big Data, Blockchain and GenAI
• Experience in leading hands-on issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis and remediation
• Strong sense of ownership around achieving platform stability and operation efficiency
• Ability to collaborate and lead in cross units’ initiatives

Qualifications

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and System Administration skills
• Software Development and Linux proficiency
• Experience in Continuous Integration practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Ideally have relevant AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect/SysOps/ Administrator / DevOps Engineer).
