About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our client's dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for professionals with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions. They will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, automate workflows, and improve overall system performance. Immediate availability is preferred, with a maximum joining period of one week. The position offers a competitive salary package ranging from 11 to 13 LPA, reflecting the expertise and experience required for this critical role.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure environments. Strong proficiency in version control systems such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab is essential, including branching and merging strategies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Jenkinsfile, shared libraries, and credentials management is required. The candidate must have expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible is vital. Additionally, a solid understanding of web servers, particularly Nginx, networking concepts, reverse proxy configurations, and SSL management is necessary. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana is also expected. Excellent troubleshooting skills for deployment issues, infrastructure failures, and performance bottlenecks are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that support the company's software products. Automate deployment pipelines and workflows to ensure continuous integration and delivery across multiple environments. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment processes and improve system reliability. Manage and monitor containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools to ensure high availability and performance. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. Configure and manage web servers, including Nginx, ensuring optimal performance, security, and SSL configurations. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including managing shared libraries and credentials securely. Monitor system performance and health using Prometheus and Grafana, setting up alerts and dashboards for proactive issue resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues promptly to minimize downtime. Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, trends, and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing processes and infrastructure. Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes. Participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and operational excellence.
