Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Recruit, onboard, and activate insurance agents / advisors as per manpower plans.
Train and motivate agents on products, sales process, and regulatory guidelines to improve productivity.
Drive new business, cross-sell, and renewals to meet monthly and annual targets for the agency channel.
Monitor agent performance through regular reviews, joint field calls, and MIS tracking; implement action plans for underperformers.
Ensure high levels of customer service, including assistance in policy issuance, documentation, and claims support.
Maintain compliance with IRDAI regulations and company policies in all sales and recruitment activities.
Gather market feedback, track competitor activities, and suggest local initiatives to increase market share.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
months to 1 year of experience in insurance / financial sales; prior agency channel experience preferred.
Strong skills in recruitment, people management, and field sales.
Good communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills; target- and result-oriented mindset.
