Destination Manager

As a backend team member handling student files and applications for Canada, your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth application process and providing support to students seeking education opportunities in Canada. You will need to be detail-oriented and well-versed with the application procedures to excel in this role. At times, you may be required to work extended hours during peak admission periods. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the operations and performance of counsellors and admissions officers in the Canada destination team. - Managing the entire application process for students applying to Canadian institutions, from receiving offers to handling final visa documentation. - Acting as the primary point of contact for all Canadian applications, collaborating closely with agents and counselors across branch offices. - Providing training to assigned agents and counsellors on Canadian application requirements. - Assessing student queries to determine eligibility and advising on suitable Canadian education options. - Reviewing student profiles to ensure alignment with admission criteria of Canadian colleges and universities. - Maintaining accurate documentation and systematic record-keeping of student information and application files. - Updating the CRM/allocated software with error-free student data throughout the counselling and application process. - Ensuring timely communication with company associates, students, and parents regarding pending documents or updates. - Conducting performance evaluations of counsellors and suggesting improvements for team productivity. - Staying updated on processes and policies by attending training sessions and webinars conducted by Canadian educational institutions. - Organizing destination-specific training sessions for new counsellors and associates. - Leading business development activities for the Canada destination, including follow-ups with consultants and educational institutions. - Guiding students on interview formats, expectations, and mock interview preparation. - Offering assistance and feedback on Statement of Purpose (SOP) writing to align with Canadian institutions" expectations. - Establishing a direct relationship with Canadian institutional representatives and escalating key cases for prompt resolutions. - Collaborating with the marketing team to promote Canadian education offerings and boost lead generation. - Participating in and organizing student events, webinars, and pre-departure orientations. - Monitoring application progress across the Canada pipeline and intervening in case of delays or errors. - Adhering to internal timelines and institution-specific deadlines, managing application flow accurately. - Providing performance reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management on a regular basis. - Handling business development calls from associates, offering destination-specific counselling support and client servicing assistance.
