Desktop Support Technician

As a skilled Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for desktop computers, applications, and related technology within our organization. Your primary duties will include installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and peripherals. Additionally, you will be required to offer technical support for software applications and operating systems, as well as assist in maintaining LAN/WAN networks, servers, and related components. You will play a key role in responding to IT support requests and inquiries from users in a timely manner, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently. Setting up new user accounts and profiles, dealing with password issues, conducting regular system updates, and performing system backups will also be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration with the IT team is essential to ensure the smooth operation of all systems within the organization. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments, possess a strong knowledge of computer hardware components and mobile devices, and have experience in providing technical support while delivering excellent customer service. Your ability to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively, along with familiarity with DNS, Jira, and other relevant IT tools, will be crucial for success in this position. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued traits in this role. This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is Monday to Friday. The work location is in person, where you will be actively involved in supporting the organizations desktop technology infrastructure.,
