Desktop Support Technician

You are a skilled Desktop Support Engineer joining the IT team with hands-on experience in desktop/laptop troubleshooting, software installation, system configuration, and user support. Your role demands strong communication skills, quick problem-solving ability, and efficient management of multiple technical tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals - Install, configure, and update operating systems, hardware, software, and applications - Provide technical support to end-users through phone, email, remote access, and in-person - Maintain logs of issues and resolutions for future reference - Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex or escalated issues - Ensure proper implementation of IT policies, procedures, and security standards - Set up and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations - Support network connectivity issues and basic LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting Qualification Required: - Diploma or Degree in IT Field Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support or a related IT role - Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and mobile devices - Good understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques - Experience with ITSM tools, ticketing systems, and remote support applications Note: The company is looking for local candidates in Ludhiana and the salary range is between 15,000 to 16,000 (In-hand).
