We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop/laptop troubleshooting, software installation, system configuration, and user support. The role requires strong communication skills, quick problem-solving ability, and the capability to manage multiple technical tasks efficiently.

Designation: Desktop Support Engineer

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹16,000 (In-hand)

Qualification: Diploma or Degree in IT Field

Location: Ludhiyana ( looking for local candidates only)

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Install, configure, and update operating systems, hardware, software, and applications

Provide technical support to end-users through phone, email, remote access, and in-person

Maintain logs of issues and resolutions for future reference

Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex or escalated issues

Ensure proper implementation of IT policies, procedures, and security standards

Set up and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations

Support network connectivity issues and basic LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support or a related IT role

Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and mobile devices

Good understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques

Experience with ITSM tools, ticketing systems, and remote support applications
