Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer (Field Work) to provide on-site technical support at client locations. The candidate will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems, IT hardware, and network connectivity, ensuring smooth IT operations for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site (field) technical support at client locations
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and OS-related issues
Handle LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity issues
Install and configure Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus, and email clients
Perform system upgrades, data backup, and recovery
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
Maintain service reports, asset details, and client documentation
Ensure timely closure of service calls and customer satisfaction

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics
Hands-on experience in desktop support and field IT support
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and networking basics
Ability to travel to client sites as required
Good communication and customer-handling skills

Preferred Skills

Two-wheeler with valid license (preferred)
Experience in ISP / Telecom / System Integration projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
