Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Solar PV Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in system design, project execution, and materials planning for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design solar PV systems using specialized software tools (PVsyst, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Perform accurate system sizing, load analysis, and technical calculations
• Develop array layouts, electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), and 3D conceptual designs
• Generate detailed PVsyst reports to estimate energy production
• Ensure all system designs comply with local grid standards, regulations, and permitting requirements
• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) based on technical specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, project management, and on-site installation
• Provide on-site or remote support to resolve design-related or technical issues during execution
• Monitor and guide the execution phase to ensure adherence to design and quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• 4–5 years of professional engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in solar PV system design
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, system integration, and renewable energy principles
• Familiarity with national and international standards and codes (MNRE, IEC, BIS, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
