Job Title: Design & Projects Head / Manager (LV/MV Switchgear Panels - Electrical) Company :- Pratibha Switchgears Pvt. Ltd. a Division of Pratibha Elecinfra Pvt. Ltd. bases at Race Course (Head Office) Location: Manufacturing Plant - Pratibha Switchgears Pvt. Ltd. Survey No-529/2-A & 2-B, Nr. Brentwood Industries Pvt. Ltd., Next To Bamangam, N.H. 8, P.O Nanafofadia, Dist. Vadodara - 391210. Vadodara, Gujarat. Position Type: Full-Time Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Experience: 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in the design of LV/MV switchgear panels within a reputable switchgear manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities: Design Leadership: Lead and oversee the complete design process for LV/MV switchgear panels, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. Develop and review general arrangements, busbar layouts, and detailed design calculations. Design control and operation logic incorporating VFDs and PLCs. Ensure all designs adhere to relevant IS and IEC standards. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance. Coordinate with clients for design approvals, modifications, and feedback. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and provide on-site support as required. Team Management: Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Allocate tasks effectively and monitor team performance to meet project deadline. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions. Conduct presentations and discussions to facilitate design approvals. Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documents, including design reports, BOQs, and operation manuals. Ensure accurate and timely communication through professional email correspondence. Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and on-site support as necessary. Required Skills and Competencies: Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of electrical design principles related to LV/MV switchgear panels. Proficient in design software such as E-Plan and AutoCAD. Familiarity with control systems, including VFDs and PLCs. Standards and Compliance: In-depth understanding of IS and IEC standards relevant to switchgear design. Communication Skills: Proficient in English, both written and spoken, for effective client and team communication. Strong email writing skills for professional correspondence. Leadership and Management: Demonstrated ability to lead a design team and manage multiple projects concurrently. Commitment to achieving targets and delivering high-quality results. Adaptability: Ability to understand and adapt to client specifications and requirements. Willingness to travel. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced electrical design tools and simulation software. Exposure to international projects and standards.
