Role Overview The Manager – UAV Aero Design will lead the design, development, prototyping, integration, and testing of UAV airframes and propulsion systems. The role demands both deep technical expertise and strong team leadership. Key Responsibilities Technical: Design and validate UAV airframes, propulsion, and mechanical systems Perform CFD, FEA, performance analysis, and structural testing Develop models, BoMs, test protocols, and technical documentation Guide UAV integration and innovation efforts Managerial: Lead the UAV Aero Design team and manage project delivery Set monthly goals, allocate tasks, and ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Identify training needs, mentor team members, and oversee HR functions Represent the team in management reviews and drive patentable innovations Required Qualifications & Skills Education: B.E./B.Tech in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering (PG in UAV tech preferred) Experience: 5–8 years in UAV airframe and propulsion system design and integration Knowledge: Expert-level in at least 50% of UAV systems (aero, CFD, FEA, controls, structures, propulsion) Tools: CAD, CFD (e.g., XFLR, Flow5), FEA, flight dynamics tools, technical documentation Contact / Apply 🔗 Learn more: www.yottec.com 📩 For inquiries, email: komala.sujay@yottec.com/umesh.kumar@yottec.com Show more Show less
