Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer with expertise in electrical panel design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD, PLC wiring & logic, and 3D panel design. This role requires a keen understanding of industrial electrical standards, control systems, and technical drawing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical control panels (LT panels, MCC, PCC, PLC panels) using AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.

• Create detailed 2D & 3D panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings.

• Develop PLC-based schematic diagrams and interface with automation systems.

• Ensure design compliance with relevant IS/IEC standards and client specifications.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and purchase teams to ensure BOM accuracy and manufacturability.

• Provide technical support to the sales and project teams for estimation and solution design.

• Assist in site visits or client meetings for technical clarification when required.

• Maintain documentation and revision control of drawings and designs.

Key Skills & Tools:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

• Working knowledge of PLC drawing, control logic, and schematics

• Familiarity with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or other design tools (preferred)

• Understanding of electrical codes (IS/IEC) and panel manufacturing practices

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Preferred Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in designing industrial electrical panels

• Prior experience in a panel manufacturing company is a strong advantage
