Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop packaging solutions such as

  FLCs, corrugated boxes, PP boxes, pallets, foam inserts, separators, wooden boxes

  , etc.
• Create accurate

  2D drawings and 3D models

  using

  AutoCAD

  and other design software.
• Prepare detailed

  technical specifications, BOMs, and engineering documentation

  .
• Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with customer requirements.
• Perform

  cost and material optimization

  while ensuring product strength, load-bearing capacity, and durability.
• Conduct

  packaging trials, testing

  , and validation of new designs.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback, engineering changes, and manufacturing constraints.
• Ensure all designs comply with

  industry standards

  , export seaworthy packaging guidelines, and customer specifications.
• Support the development of

  custom packaging concepts, prototypes

  , and sample development.
• Maintain an organized database of drawings, layouts, and design files.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in

  Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Technology

  , or related field.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD

  (2D & 3D).
• Working knowledge of design tools such as

  SolidWorks, CREO, SketchUp, ArtiosCAD

  , or other relevant applications (optional but preferred).
• Understanding of materials:

  corrugated sheets, polypropylene, wood, foam, bubble guard, pallets

  , etc.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, load calculations, and structural design parameters.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to packaging design.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in

  industrial packaging

  , automotive packaging, or export-oriented packaging.
• Familiarity with

  FLC design, PP box development, heavy-duty corrugated solutions, and wooden packaging standards

  .
• Experience working with

  manufacturing teams

  and understanding of production processes.
