QUALIFICATIONS:

B Arch

Post-Graduation in Design

Software knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Sketch up, Photoshop, Illustrator etc

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Contribute to the creative leadership of a design team.
2. Actively participate in project set-up, including identifying project members, defining roles, creating timelines and budgets, and developing design briefs.
3. Lead creative sessions to kick-start projects.
4. Manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
5. Develop design concepts that align with the organization's business objectives and brand strategy.
6. Foster a creative and challenging environment for the design team.
7. Motivate, inspire, and support the personal and professional growth of team members.
8. Ensure effective design solutions and manage project aspirations.
9. Set high standards for quality and creativity in design deliverables.
10. Provide expertise and guidance to the design team on architectural and engineering design issues.
11. Lead the design aspects for acquiring new sites, including product conceptualization, pre-feasibility, licensing strategy, approval costs and processes, deal business plan, and addressing legal considerations impacting design.
12. Serve as the main point of contact for project-related information for management.
13. Take overall responsibility for reviewing designs at various stages to ensure they meet business requirements and maximize market stability and cost efficiency.
14. Incorporate flexibility into designs to address land issues, future expansion, and business cash flows.
15. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and service consultants to ensure accurate and timely delivery of corrected drawings to the site and drive the project towards completion within scheduled timelines.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 15 years’ experience of which 5 years in designer capability in a design organization

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Intrinsic knowledge, experience and creativity in field of architectural design Ability to visualize, express and assist translating ideas into reality designs Proven track record in design field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
