Design Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our fabrication unit. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fabrication drawings, supporting production activities, and ensuring designs meet project, quality, and safety requirements. The role requires close coordination with fabrication, project, and quality teams to deliver accurate and manufacturable designs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and GA drawings as per project requirements
• Develop 2D and 3D models using CAD software
• Create BOM/MTO and support estimation and planning teams
• Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to ensure design feasibility
• Provide technical support during fabrication and resolve design-related issues
• Revise drawings based on client comments, site feedback, or fabrication constraints
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and design records
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings

Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
• Knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding, cutting, bending, and machining
• Understanding of materials, welding symbols, and fabrication standards

Soft Skills

• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
