Design Engineer

Again Digitech is hiring a Design Engineer – Test Fixtures for our wire harness testing solutions team. The role focuses on designing precise mechanical fixtures and connector interfaces used in automotive and EV harness validation.
Role Overview
You will design connector blocks, probe assemblies, housings, and fixture mechanisms used in testing setups. The work requires strong CAD skills and sound mechanical fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
• Design mechanical test fixtures for wire harness applications.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs.
• Develop connector interface blocks, probe holders, and housings.
• Coordinate with electronics teams for correct connector geometry and pin layouts.
• Support machining, 3D printing, prototype builds, and fitment checks.
• Ensure manufacturability, durability, and consistency of designs.
Requirements
• Diploma/BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design or fixture design.
• Proficiency in CATIA, CREO, Siemens NX or any 3D Design Software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and basic mechanical design principles.
• Experience in jigs/fixtures or precision mechanical assemblies is preferred.
