Core Responsibilities:
1. Design Support and Execution:
- Efficiently fulfil the tasks of a DTP Operator 
- Assist the design team in creating visual assets for print, digital, and multimedia projects, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, and website layouts.
- Prepare design mock-ups, prototypes, and presentations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure design files are production-ready, properly formatted, and adhere to brand guidelines.
2. Creative Development:
- Collaborate with designers to brainstorm, research, and develop creative concepts aligned with client needs and brand guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing valuable input and learning from feedback.
- Stay updated on design trends and integrate fresh ideas into your work.
3. Design Support and Execution:
- Assist the design team in creating visual assets for print, web, APP, digital, and multimedia projects, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, and website layouts.
- Prepare design mock-ups, prototypes, and presentations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure design files are production-ready, properly formatted, and adhere to brand guidelines.
4. Creative Development:
- Collaborate with designers to brainstorm, research, and develop creative concepts aligned with client needs and brand guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing valuable input and learning from feedback.
- Stay updated on design trends and integrate fresh ideas into your work.
5. Image and Asset Management:
- Maintain an organised digital library of images, fonts, graphics, and other design resources.
- Assist in sourcing and managing assets required for ongoing projects.
6. Proofing and Quality Control:
- Review designs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project briefs before final delivery.
- Support senior designers in ensuring quality control across deliverables.
7. Administrative and Project Support:
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing and updating databases (e.g., for New Year cards, client records, and project tracking).
- Ensure all project files are correctly organised, regularly backed up, and accessible for the team.
- Manage cloud-based storage systems and maintain physical backups of critical data, ensuring alignment with mirror copies for redundancy.
- Monitor and maintain reliable internet connectivity to facilitate smooth upload and download processes, enabling seamless workflow and collaboration.
- Assist in organising and archiving design-related documents and records for easy retrieval and compliance with documentation standards.
8. Professional Growth and Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and foster a collaborative environment.
- Participate in internal training and mentorship programs to enhance your skills and understanding of design principles.
- Represent Lopez Design professionally in client interactions and presentations.
9. Additional Contributions:
- Contribute to the firm’s marketing efforts by designing visually compelling content for social media or promotional materials.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
10. Performance Expectations:
- Demonstrate accountability and a proactive approach in handling responsibilities.
- Communicate progress regularly with project managers and senior designers.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn, flexibility in approach, and alignment with Lopez Design’s values and standards.
