Job Type: Full-time Travel Requirement: As per work demands Salary: As per industry standards PF: Yes Job Purpose: We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Sales Engineer to drive solution-based sales for IP-CCTV surveillance , fire alarm systems , and related security technologies. This role involves field visits, understanding complex customer requirements, designing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams for project handover and execution. Ideal candidates should blend technical expertise , solution selling skills , and client relationship management . Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. Understand client requirements and recommend customized security, automation, and fire safety solutions. Deliver technical presentations and demos to existing and prospective clients. Lead project and industrial sales for CCTV, fire detection, access control, and public address systems. Work closely with internal design teams to prepare tailored techno-commercial proposals. Manage client relationships, conduct meetings, and negotiate pricing and contract terms. Ensure smooth project transition to execution teams with proper documentation and alignment. Monitor market trends and competitor activity; prepare and present sales reports to management. Required Skills: Strong technical understanding of security and fire safety solutions. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools. Experience with Auto CAD is highly desirable. Capable of managing long sales cycles and building strong client relationships. Self-motivated and willing to travel regularly for client meetings and site visits. Must own a two-wheeler for commuting. Preferred Experience: 1–3 years of experience in industrial or B2B sales of IP Surveillance, Fire Detection, Access Control, or related electronic security systems. Exposure to BOQs, tender specifications, and government/infrastructure projects is an added advantage. Education Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc / B. Engg in Engineering, Technology, or Science disciplines. Language Proficiency: English (mandatory), Hindi, and at least one regional language (Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, or Bengali).

The job involves field visits across designated territory and close coordination with internal design and project execution teams. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and salesmanship to effectively address client requirements and close complex solution-based sales. Involves solution-based sales of IP CCTV, fire alarm, access control, and automation systems across residential, commercial, and industrial segments . Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the target sectors (residential or commercial). Understand client requirements and propose customized security and automation solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to existing and prospective customers Solution Sales and Client Engagement Drive B2B sales in electronic security and fire safety, managing end-to-end client engagement. Technical Proposal Development Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals aligned with client requirement specifications and compliance standards. Negotiation and Order Finalization Conduct presentations, address client queries, and negotiate on pricing and deliverables. Cross-Functional Coordination – Work with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure project readiness and smooth handover. Market & Competitor Tracking – Stay updated with industry developments and report leads, forecasts, and customer feedback regularly. Proven experience in sales, particularly in sector like sanitary system, pipelines, or electronic fittings Established contacts with builders, contractors, Industries Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients, including builder, contractors, to introduce VICOM’s range of products and services Preferred Industry Experience: Candidates with experience in any of the following sectors will be preferred: Electronic Security Systems (CCTV, Fire Alarms, Access Control, BMS, VMS) Sanitary Systems / Pipelines / Plumbing Projects Electrical or Electronic Fittings & Components Construction Material Sales Industrial Product Sales (OEM/B2B) Government Projects and Tender-based Sales (BOQ handling experience is a plus) Candidates with prior experience in heavy industry sales of CCTV, IP Surveillance, Fire Detection, Access Control, Video Management Systems, Building Management Systems, or related electronic security systems will be preferred. Requisite Skills & Attributes: Proven sales experience with an ability to manage long sales cycles Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal & written) Strong technical acumen in security, safety, and automation systems Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic knowledge of Auto CAD Ability to travel frequently for field visits and client meetings Must possess a personal two-wheeler for client coordination
