Deputy Sales Manager – Thermoplastics and Composite, South
Responsibilities
- Primary Responsibilities in sales role:
- Meet or exceed Region’s annual business performance indicators mainly Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory & Receivables
- Ability to effectively implement strategic goals of the segment in the southern region.
- Manage Channel Partners and work with them to grow sales and to collect payments without delays. Setting aggressive growth targets for Channel Partners and collaborating with them in achieving those targets.
- Ensuring Channel Partners maintains healthy Business Development Pipeline all the time to ensure consistent sales growth. Ensuring Channel Partner commits enough resources for sales growth.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers through regular contact with decision-makers, corporate management, and influential personnel at any level. Maintain Chem-Trend’s image of supporting the product after the sale through excellent customer service.
- Negotiating price increases and price contracts with Key Accounts and Channel Partners regularly.
- Conduct product trials for new product developments and provide feedback to the technical staff and the laboratory.
- Responsible for identifying new prospects/ applications to enhance market share penetration in the Southern region for both Composite and TP Segments. Visit potential / existing consumers to understand their requirements / resolve their queries promptly
- Participate in the segment’s monthly business reviews and share the necessary market updates with the management, including the competitor’s activity and their marketing plans.
- Being comfortable with and diligent in using Sales Productivity tools like CRM, Power BI, Microsoft Teams.
- Primary Responsibilities in technical resource role:
- Provide on-site technical support and training to customers and Channel Partner sales representatives as required; evaluate new product technology.
- Value selling of purge compounds, release agents and maintenance products in CO and TP segments. Conducting product trials, identifying and solving customer problems and evaluating customer benefits to show Value of high-performance product lines.
- Collaborate internally to develop new products and improve existing products to meet customer needs.
- Support Channel partner’s Sales Representatives and customers with timely problem-solving and general product information.
- Assist in developing and delivering technical presentations to customers.
- Monitor activity of new product introductions to bring forth timely testing of new products into the field.
- Handle all products in accordance with environmental regulations and attend product complaints promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience in the industry with 3 to 5 years of experience.
