Deputy Sales Manager

As a Deputy Manager in the Liner Agency Sales & Marketing department, you will be responsible for overseeing all work performed at the branch and supervising various areas of sales & operations. Your primary goal will be to manage staff, foster a positive work environment, and ensure customer satisfaction to guarantee the smooth operation of the branch. Your hands-on approach and strong commitment to business growth will be essential for success. Key Responsibilities: - Direct all operational aspects of the branch, including Sales & Marketing, Documentation, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, Administration, and other business activities. - Assess local market conditions to identify current and prospective sales opportunities. - Develop forecasts, revenue objectives, and business strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets. - Achieve personal and team goals, monitor branch staff performance, and conduct annual appraisals as per company policy. - Ensure timely submission of accurate reports meeting informational requirements. - Liaise with vendors and terminals for smooth operations. - Represent the company in Customs, Ports, Terminals, and take necessary actions before regulatory bodies in line with company directives. - Coordinate with Principals on branch- and region-related activities. - Manage the branch budget efficiently and maximize team performance through training, coaching, development, and motivation. - Identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions to overcome challenges and leverage growth opportunities. Qualifications Required: - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. - Strong knowledge of shipping products, services, and market trends. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to manage customer accounts and coordinate with internal teams effectively.
