Job Description

Supervise and manage day-to-day store operations at T&D project sites.
Ensure accurate receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
Maintain updated inventory records using ERP systems or store management software.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely material delivery.
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor material consumption trends and forecast requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards.
Manage disposal of scrap and surplus materials as per company policy.
Train and guide storekeepers and support staff on best practices.
Prepare MIS reports and present inventory status to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree or diploma in
Materials Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
.
Minimum
6+ years of experience
in store/inventory management, preferably in
T&D or EPC projects
.
Proficiency in
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
, MS Excel, and inventory control tools.
Strong understanding of
electrical materials
,
substation
