Assistant Manager

• Analyze tender documents (RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, specifications) and identify scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimations including material, labor, subcontracting, and overheads.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams for inputs and validations.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals in line with client requirements and deadlines.
• Liaise with vendors and OEMs for pricing and technical clarifications.
• Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimize bid competitiveness.
• Maintain a database of costing, vendor quotes, and historical project benchmarks.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and client interactions as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and documentation standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in tendering and estimation in the T&D or EPC sector.
• Strong knowledge of substation and transmission line components and costing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and estimation tools/software.
• Good understanding of commercial terms, taxation, and contract clauses.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to government and private sector tenders (e.g., Power Grid, DISCOMs, RE projects).
• Familiarity with international bidding formats (optional but advantageous).
