Senior Engineer

• Tendering & Bid Management:

  • Review tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for T&D projects including material, labor, and subcontracting.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for accurate inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.

• Cost Analysis & Estimation:

  • Develop BOQs and pricing sheets for EHV substations, transmission lines, and associated works.
  • Analyze vendor quotations and negotiate for competitive pricing.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize bid strategies.

• Risk Assessment & Documentation:

  • Evaluate technical and commercial risks in tenders.
  • Prepare bid clarifications and responses to client queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenders and estimation data.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams during pre-bid and post-bid stages.
  • Support business development team in technical presentations and bid submissions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  Transmission & Distribution systems

  (EHV substations, transmission lines).
• Proficiency in

  Tendering, Estimation, and Costing

  for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with

  Indian and International standards

  for T&D projects.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and estimation tools.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Postgraduate or certification in Project Management / Estimation (preferred).
