Job Description

Perform field quality inspections and materials inspections, raising Requests for Inspection (RFI) as per client requirements.
Ensure non-conformities are addressed and closed with proper documentation.
Prepare daily inspection reports, PowerPoint presentations, quality assurance documents, NC log sheets, and other related reports.
Monitor and supervise the installation of electrical equipment including HT panels, inverters, transformers, etc.
Oversee the installation of SCADA systems, streetlights, CCTV, lightning arresters, weather monitoring systems, and AC/DC power and control cabling in solar power plants.
Execute projects efficiently, detect problems, and troubleshoot as needed, making modifications as per site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
Maintain proper communication with clients and higher authorities regarding project progress and issues.
Oversee HT/LT/DC cable laying, glanding, lugging, and termination, supervising the installation and termination of panels, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, and isolators.
Ensure accurate documentation and records maintenance, preparing for and managing end-to-end installation work ready for testing and commissioning of solar projects at the site, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Manage the erection of power transformers, CTs, PTs, lightning arresters, and line bus isolators, planning and executing work as per approved designs and drawings.
Oversee all on-site activities, including execution and project-related tasks, ensuring technical excellence and contributing to the company's growth, submitting daily, weekly, and monthly comprehensive reports.
Control the quality, quantity, and resources of electrical work as per the schedule, managing vendors and contractors effectively, and obtaining all necessary permits and permissions required for the project.
