Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Reporting:
Prepare business plans, submit MIS reports (Fuel Cost, EBITDA, O&M Variance, Debtors, Income summaries).
Cost & Profitability Analysis:
Conduct costing, analyze direct/indirect expenses, and suggest cost optimization measures.
Revenue Assurance & Process Improvement:
Identify revenue leakages, drive process digitalization, and strengthen internal controls.
Sales Billing & Reconciliation:
Oversee billing for MSEDCL, CPPs, merchant sales; manage invoicing, LPS, and reconciliations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Prepare and support MERC petitions, submissions, and hearings.
Taxation & Financial Analysis:
Handle advance tax profitability, merchant booking fuel cost, and board meeting financial analyses.
Audit & Accounting:
Coordinate with auditors, ensure IND AS & IGAAP compliance, review O&M budgets, scrap & fly ash sales.
Contracts & Agreements:
Support data preparation and negotiations for contracts, amendments, and related party transactions.
System Implementation:
Contribute to finance process design, SAP/system alignment, and digital initiatives.

Key Skills:

Qualifications & Experience

CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification
8-12 years of experience in
Finance, MIS, Business Planning &
prefered
Power Sector.
