Job Description

Key Points of Knowledge: 1.A Land Surveyor's job typically involves measuring and mapping land boundaries, distances, and elevations using surveying instruments such as GPS and Total Stations. The role also includes identifying and marking boundaries for specific survey numbers on the field. 2.Responsible for collecting coordinate data and preparing Field Measurement Book (FMB) maps, as well as performing topographic surveys to map both natural and man-made features. 3.Proficient in Auto-CAD for drafting and mapping purposes. 4.Experienced in researching legal records, survey documents, and land titles to understand the legal and historical context of a land parcel. 5.Highly skilled in land identification, accurately finalizing and measuring land areas, fixing boundaries, and preparing corresponding FMB maps. 6.In-depth knowledge of the land acquisition process in the renewable energy sector, especially in the state of Karnataka. 7.Strong communication skills for understanding and resolving Right of Way (ROW) issues, land disputes, and boundary-related concerns. 8.Capable of leading teams and maintaining accurate and up-to-date land records. 9.Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 10.Fluent in local knowledge mainly in Kannada language to read the documents and write the applications of alienation, Survey like 11 E, and also knowledge of drafting and land NA conversion work.
