Job Description

As a Fraud & Risk Operations Deputy Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in conducting reviews and handling alerts triggered based on predefined parameters from a Fraud and Risk perspective. Your responsibilities will include documenting details, analysis outcomes, and information accurately in the company's system. You will also ensure the monitoring of fraud prevention activities of merchants, conduct performance reviews, and assist in risk assessment of new acquisitions of merchants and partners in line with internal and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Handle a set of Associate / Sr. Associate to ensure business as usual activities are continued as per standard operating procedures. - Assist in risk assessment of Merchants process, projects, enhancements, and acquisition of merchants and partners. - Analyze gathered information to identify patterns and trends, providing feedback and insights to internal teams. - Provide timely inputs to Analytical, Product, and business teams. - Perform UAT testing and record shortcomings for resolution through stakeholders. - Review exceptions regarding new merchants in terms of volumes, predefined rules, onboarding, and cross-referral monitoring. - Ensure regulatory aspects are adhered to with respect to merchant guidelines. - Conduct periodic audits and reviews on merchants, including mystery shopping. - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of business as usual activities. - Manage escalations from all channels within the agreed TAT. - Conduct detailed investigations in adverse/negative transaction surveillance and monitoring. - Work on alerts, automated workflows, and management reporting to support monitoring and fraud detection processes. - Identify opportunities for improving data quality, reducing noise, and false positives reported by internal quality teams. Qualifications Required: - Any Graduate / Postgraduate with a minimum of 10+ years of prior experience. - Good verbal and writing skills, proactive, self-driven, with people management and analytical skills. - Strong internal and personal skills, understanding of technology and user experience. - Good knowledge of SQL and MS Office.
