Job Description

Should have the good knowledge of Automotive electronics parts.
Responsible for achieving plant production targets and ensuring that all production activities are done in accordance with the standard operating procedures and monitoring hourly production plan vs actual DSS
Coordinate with other relevant functions and ensure production resources are efficiently utilized for uninterrupted supply of company products
Facilitate regular production meetings with related departments to prepare production schedules and ensure accurate and timely delivery
Review departmental documentation and written procedures like manufacturing guidelines investigation reports production data
Establish systems policies and procedures related to production in accordance to the best practices in the industry and company policies Zero defect initiatives Layered GEMBA 5S
Ensure OTIF as per production plan and ensure adherence to the project plan as per APQP
Ensure adherence to the project plan as per APQP for minor project change implementation
Ensure timely and regular Manpower planning with their working shifts zone wise and Manpower Deployment as per PPC plan at the start of shift
Assessing WIP Inventory as per system by reviewing actual stock compiling all zone stocks in one sheet and providing to finance
Monitor inventory levels at plants and driving initiatives for improvement in Inventory control
Define and monitor critical spares levels required for smooth functioning of assembly and PE minimum and maximum inventory levels at plant and ensuring adherence to the same
Updating Process flow layout and PFMEA and ensuring all product trials and batch testing plans are adhered to
Maintain Quality Management Systems and Six Sigma at plant while overseeing process improvement reengineering and other innovative techniques to ensure cost effectiveness of production operations and project resources as per target limits
Implement continuous improvement initiatives in plants to maintain required Overall equipment effectiveness OEE and Line Efficiency
Carry out in house development of jigs and introduce automation by reducing manual activities
Ensure successful audits for IATF EMS and OHSAS Customer audit MSES BIQS VDA 63 WCSQ or other audit Corporate audit MBEM GBE Safety audit
Verify system in all production zones by gemba audit and target Zero NC for each external audit
