Role Summary:

Seeking a creative, results-driven digital content writer with 2–4 years of experience, skilled at producing strategic content and promotional copy for AshokaX’s digital marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate prior expertise in writing and editing web, blog, and social media content, ideally for education brands or programs.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread engaging content for AshokaX’s blogs, social media, paid campaigns, and websites, adhering to high editorial and brand standards.
  • Develop promotional copy for digital advertising and course launches, with a strong focus on audience targeting and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate in campaign planning with the marketing team, bringing independent suggestions and insights from prior experience.
  • Conduct research for keyword optimisation and SEO-driven content, implementing improvements based on analytics data.
  • Build and manage multi-channel content calendars, and ensure timely publishing across platforms.
  • Create assets for marketing (infographics, banners, video scripts), with competency using basic visual design and multimedia tools.
  • Analyse ongoing campaigns’ performance and suggest digital strategies based on data and best practices in educational promotion. (preferred)


Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant, hands-on experience in digital content writing or marketing in the education sector or for educational brands/agencies.
  • Proven portfolio of work (e.g., blogs, campaigns, social media posts) demonstrating high-quality writing, editorial skills, and creativity.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing platforms, and social analytics tools (Google Analytics, WordPress, Canva, social schedulers).
  • Experience identifying trends in online learning and adapting messaging for educational or professional audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage deadlines independently, and willingness to mentor teammates if required.
  • Integrity, research orientation, and understanding of responsible online conduct—a must for candidates working with educational institutes.
