We have helped prevent 0.5% of India’s total carbon emissions and 1.1% of India’s total power sector emissions, in addition to generating around 130,000 jobs over the past decade Job Description Job Responsibilities - Serve as the primary liaison with State and Central Government authorities to advocate favorable policies and build a positive brand image for ReNew.Develop and maintain strong networks with key stakeholders in government ministries (Energy, Revenue, Finance, Forest, Industries, etc.), including Sachivalaya/Mantralaya-level offices.Monitor and interpret RE-related policy developments, regulatory updates, and competitor activities at the State level; share timely insights with internal teams.Lead engagements with State Nodal Agencies, Regulatory Commissions, DISCOMs, Transmission Companies, SLDCs, Electrical Inspectorates, etc., for securing statutory permits and clearances.Support Central Regulatory team by providing regular updates on State-wise RE policies, SERC orders, and regulatory frameworks.Drive corporate affairs and strategy initiatives across Wind, Solar, Hybrid, B2B, Manufacturing, and Asset Management business units.Guide and facilitate land acquisition processes (government, private, and forest land), ensuring compliance with approvals, NOCs, mortgage permissions, and applicable charges.Coordinate with project execution teams to ensure project commissioning within SCOD/PPA timelines or as per client commitments.Collaborate with State Asset Management teams to address operational issues and support breakdowns or unforeseen situations as required.Track STU/CTU project progress under execution and provide weekly status reports to management, highlighting potential bottlenecks and support needs.Monitor monthly energy generation (wind and solar) and track receivables from DISCOMs/States; flag delays and suggest mitigation steps to ensure timely collections.Ensure timely release of annual statutory payments and coordinate with O&M/Asset Management teams for meter calibration and compliance.Support CSR teams with on-ground execution of CSR projects across states.
