Job Description

As the Deputy/General Manager for Civil Construction, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of civil construction projects in a strategic manner. Your responsibilities will include: - Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to drive growth and success, identify market opportunities, and guide business development initiatives. - Project Management: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects ensuring they are on time, within budget, and compliant with safety standards. - Financial Management: Manage project finances, evaluate profitability, and implement strategies for financial optimization. - Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative work environment. - Client Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, address their needs, and ensure satisfaction. - Quality and Safety Compliance: Implement quality control and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. - Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners. - Contract Management: Oversee negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring obligations are met and disputes resolved. - Risk Management: Implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns. - Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management, communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus. - Extensive experience (More than 15 years) in senior management roles within the civil construction industry. - Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and best practices. - Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, with excellent financial acumen and budget management experience. Additional Considerations: - Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) would be beneficial for this role.,
