Description
As the Deputy General Manager for Cyber Security in the AMIEO region, your role involves acting as a key interface between the regional Security teams and technology-focused analysts, engineers, and administrators within the AMIO IT organization. You will be responsible for translating IT-risk requirements into technical control specifications, developing metrics for performance measurement, and coordinating technical activities to implement and manage security infrastructure. Your duties will also include providing regular status and service-level reports to management. Key Responsibilities: - **Risk Management**: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure the security of information systems. - **Compliance and Governance**: Ensure adherence to global and regional regulatory requirements and internal policies. - **Incident Response**: Lead Incident Response within the AMIO region by liaising with regional IR teams. - **Threat Intelligence**: Stay updated on the latest threats and vulnerabilities through the regional Threat Intelligence service to proactively protect the organization. - **Security Architecture**: Design and maintain a robust security infrastructure aligning with organizational goals and standards. - **Collaboration and Communication**: Work effectively with regional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure cohesive security measures. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM tools and encryption methods - Proficiency in Vulnerability management, Identity Security, Threat Intelligence, PKI and Cryptography, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Identity & Access Management - Leadership and Management skills to lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, provide guidance, and foster a culture of security awareness - Analytical Thinking to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions - Project Management experience in managing security projects from planning to execution - Strong Communication Skills to convey security policies and procedures to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Commitment to Continuous Learning to keep up with the latest developments in cybersecurity Please note that the role is based in Chennai, India.
