Job Description

Role Overview:

The Deputy Director Buying will lead strategic procurement initiatives across Wrogn and K& K. This role involves optimizing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic buying plans and procurement policies
Lead and manage the buying team to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform buying decisions
Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with business goals
Drive cost-saving initiatives and improve procurement processes
Evaluate vendor capabilities and maintain long-term partnerships

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; preference for NIFT graduates
Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain such as CSCP or CPSM is preferred
Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of sourcing strategies and industry best practices
Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools
