Job Description

Deputy Dean

Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. in Computer Science
(preferably with specialization in
AIML
).
Minimum 10 years of academic experience
, including
at least 5 years as an Associate Professor
.
Preference will be given to candidates with
minimum 3 years of experience in academic administration
or leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic academic leadership for the School of Science & Technology.
Supervise program development, curriculum enhancement, and academic quality assurance.
Guide faculty recruitment, mentoring, evaluation, and professional development.
Strengthen industry collaborations, research initiatives, and innovation activities.
Support accreditation processes, compliance, and institutional policy implementation.
Oversee student affairs, academic operations, and academic governance.
Collaborate with the Dean, Vice-Chancellor, and other university leadership for institutional growth.
Promote adoption of
modern technologies
, including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML).
Build strong
industry connectivity and placement networks
.

Strong academic and administrative capabilities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience in faculty mentoring, academic governance, and process improvement.
Ability to foster research culture and drive academic excellence.
Comfortable relocating or staying on campus (preferred).
