Purpose of Role/Job Summary:
The Position is responsible for overall handling the Finance & Accounts function of the company. Ensuring compliance of policies for commercial transactions
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory dues including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, MLWF, PT, Income Tax, etc.
- Handle TRACES portal and resolve TDS-related notices and defaults.
- File Form 16, Form 16A, MVAT refund/assessment, and monthly returns (PF/ESIC) for permanent and contract employees.
- Manage professional tax compliance for Directors and the company.
- Calculate employee income tax and coordinate investment declarations.
Payroll & Employee Reimbursements:-
- Prepare salary JVs including provisions for statutory deductions.
- Disburse salaries to staff, consultants, and Directors.
- Process petty cash approvals, travel advances, and reimbursement claims.
- Manage full & final settlements, recover staff advances, and compute statutory benefits like gratuity, bonus, and leave encashment.
- Coordinate with payroll consultants for monthly challans and returns.

- Oversee daily accounting entries in Tally ERP and ensure proper classification under correct heads (e.g. SO No., GRN, PO, and Cost Centre).
- Validate invoices for expenses and purchases (including petty cash, Paytm, foreign currency).
- Maintain and reconcile online and physical cash balances weekly.
- Manage accounts finalization for Directors and family members.

- Implement and monitor finance-related SOPs and delegation of authority as defined by Head Office.
- Approve corporate credit card usage and ensure policy adherence.
- Validate and book travel claims in Tally & ERP. Prepare travel summary reports for budget analysis and cost variance tracking

- Conduct monthly stock valuation and submit reports to the bank.
- Coordinate stock audits (biennially) and internal checks on accounting practices.
- Review and submit monthly MIS reports on credit limits, investment positions, and fund utilization.

- Ensure timely renewal of insurance policies and asset coverage for Directors at best negotiated rates with zero defaults.
- Handle day-to-day banking operations bank reconciliation, liaisoning, tracking of charges (debit/credit).
- Manage instruments like Packing Credit, Overdraft (OD), Bank Guarantees (BG), Fixed Deposits, etc.
8.
- Validate import documentation and coordinate with banks for payments.
- Liaise with Chartered Accountants for issuance of Form 15CA/CB for foreign remittances.
9.
- Submission of monthly statistical data to the local government before 7 Th of every month e.g. Sales data.
- Generate exception reports and other ad-hoc reports required by management
Work Experience and Skills:
5+ years of professional experience as an Account Management in Manufacturing sector with exposure to Engineering industry
- Strong knowledge about Statutory Audits & Compliance , Indian Taxation Law ( Direct& Indirect), payroll
- Should well-versed in regulations, and compliance, Tally ERP and SAP
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Experience in Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables is a must.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and people skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Additional qualification in Business management preferred
