Key Responsibilities
A candidate needs to interact with the global financial clients regularly and will be responsible for final delivery of work including:n Translate client r equirements into actionable solutions.n Understand the business requirements from the customers.n Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.n Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashionn Communicate with relevant stakeholders on an ongoing basis.n Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.n Guide the team to implement industry best practices.n Design and implement the system from scratch & build enhancements, features request using Java and Reactn Build prototype of application & solution as needed.n Involve in both development & maintenance of the systems.n Work collaboratively in a global setting, should be eager to learn new technologies.n Provide support for any implemented solutions including incident, problem, and defect management, and appropriately cross train other members within ISD so that they are able to support the solutions.n Responsible for extending and maintaining existing codebase with focus on quality, re-usability, maintainability and consistencyn Independently troubleshoot difficult and complex issues on production and other environmentsn Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic.n Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT)Candidate Profile
n 7+ years of industry experience in software development using R eact with TypeScript or JavaScript .n Strong knowledge of React concepts such as hooks, error boundaries, component lifecycles, lazy loading and component memoization.n Strong JavaScript knowledge including concepts such as higher order functions, closures and asynchronous programming.n Proficiency with TypeScript and related concepts such as generic types and conditional types.n Experience working with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX or Context API.n Proficiency with libraries used with React, such as React Router DOM, Framer Motion and React Query/Tanstack Queryn Strong proficiency in using HTML5, CSS and SCSS.n Having knowledge of Next.js is a plus.n Development through all the stages of the project lifecycle.n Having experience in Unit Testing with Jest as well as other similar frameworks.n Having experience using testing frameworks such as React Testing Library and Enzyme.n Good knowledge with SOA and Web Service standards (REST, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, WS-I Basic Profile), and IIS.n Strong understanding of Functional Programming concepts, OOP, SOLID Principle and Design Patterns.n Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git.n Experience and expertise in using Azure cloud services. Good understanding of Azure authentication, authorization, service principals, identity and Access Management.n Working with users, senior management and stake holders across multiple disciplines.n Mentoring and developing technical colleagues.n Solid knowledge of Investment Banking services and business processesn Solid knowledge of financial accounting and management accounting business processes.n Experience in managing stakeholder expectations (client and project team) and generating relevant reports.n Excellent project tracking and monitoring skillsn Good decision making and problem-solving skills.n Adaptable, flexible and ability to prioritize and work in tight schedules.n Ability to manage pressure, ambiguity and change.n Good understanding of all knowledge areas in software development including requirement gathering, designing, development, testing, maintenance, quality control etc.n Preferred experience with Agile methodology and knowledge of Financial Services/Asset Management Industryn Ensure quality of deliverables within project timelinesn Independently manage daily client communication, especially over callsn Drives the work towards completion with accuracy and timely deliverables.n Good to have Financial Services knowledge
