Role Summary
Were looking for a DEI Coordinator to support our DEIB efforts in communications and engagement. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is passionate about inclusive storytelling, employee engagement, and internal communications.
Youll work alongside the DEI team and collaborate with key partners across the organization to help shape a culture of belonging through thoughtful communications, community-building efforts, and operational coordination. Key Responsibilities
• Internal and External Communications: Support the creation and distribution of engaging DEIB-related content across internal platforms (e.g., newsletters, Viva Engage, SharePoint, WhatsApp) and external platforms (IG, Linkedin), ensuring inclusive and consistent messaging.
• Storytelling & Content Creation: Identify and document stories, employee experiences, and DEI best practices to spotlight across internal and external channels.
• Cohort-Based Engagement: Assist in coordinating engagement with specific employee cohorts and communities including logistics, communication, and follow-ups.
• Celebrations or campaigns: Support planning and execution of awareness campaigns, learning sessions, and events tied to key DEI themes and milestones.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with different teams and functions to support the integration of DEI comms into systems, policies, and workflows.
• Operations & Budgeting: Provide support in managing DEI program logistics, vendor coordination, basic budgeting, and invoicing in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge & Content Management: Help maintain DEI content repositories, toolkits, and shared resources for internal use and reference.
Who We’re Looking For Qualifications & Experience • 1–2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: communications, HR, DEI, employee engagement, or social impact
• Bachelor’s degree / majors course in communications, media, marketing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Sensitivity: Internal
• Exposure to diversity and inclusion programs, student/community initiatives, or volunteer work is a plus Skills & Attributes
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with an inclusive lens • Social media savvy; able to design and curate content (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.)
• Proficient with tools like Viva Engage, SharePoint, MS Teams, Canva, and PowerPoint
• Strong coordination, organization, and multitasking skills
• Passion for DEI, employee engagement, and workplace culture
• Self-starter and curious learner with a collaborative and proactive approach Bonus if you have:
• Familiarity with DEI best practices, current trends, and challenges.
• Exposure to campus/community DEI initiatives or volunteering for social impact
• Familiarity with basic budgeting, vendor coordination, or event operations
