Dean Engineering

Qualification: PhD in Engineering / Technology (Mandatory)Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience (as per UGC/AICTE/University norms)Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to the School of Engineering
• Plan, develop, and implement academic programs in compliance with AICTE, UGC, and University norms
• Lead curriculum development, outcome-based education (OBE), and accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC)
• Promote research, innovation, patents, funded projects, and industry-sponsored research
• Mentor faculty members and guide PhD, M.Tech, and undergraduate research
• Strengthen industry linkages, internships, placements, and MoUs
• Oversee admissions, examinations, laboratories, and infrastructure planning
• Ensure continuous improvement in teaching-learning processes and academic quality
• Represent the School during inspections, audits, and academic forums

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• PhD in Engineering / Technology from a recognized university (mandatory)
• M.Tech / ME with a strong academic record
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in teaching/research, including leadership roles such as Professor / HoD / Associate Dean
• Proven research credentials with publications in reputed journals and conferences

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of AICTE, NBA, and NAAC accreditation frameworks
• Academic leadership, strategic planning, and administrative capabilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people-management skills
• Ability to drive research culture, innovation, and industry collaboration
