Role Responsibilities Develop and manage data pipelines on the Databricks platform. Optimize and maintain data processing workflows using Apache Spark. Implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design data models. Write optimized SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis. Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks. Monitor and troubleshoot data processing jobs for performance issues. Work with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) to enhance data solutions. Conduct data analytics to derive actionable insights. Implement version control mechanisms for code management. Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation. Stay updated with the latest features and best practices of Databricks. Provide technical support and guidance to team members. Engage in collaborative projects to enhance data quality. Participate in strategy meetings to align data projects with business goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in data engineering or development roles. Strong proficiency in the Databricks platform. Experience with Apache Spark and its components. Solid understanding of database management systems and SQL. Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analytics. Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Prior experience in data analysis and visualization is a plus. Understanding of data governance and security best practices. A proactive approach to learning new technologies. Experience in using version control software like Git.
