Job Purpose

Lead / Senior Oracle/PostgreSQL Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize Oracle/PostgreSQL database solutions.
Write efficient SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Perform data modeling, schema design, and database configuration.
Develop and manage ETL/data migration processes.
Optimize queries, indexing, and execution plans for performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Work with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, Kafka, etc.).
Implement monitoring, governance, and database security best practices.

Skills & Competencies

✅ Strong SQL programming & query optimization expertise

✅ Hands-on with Oracle/PostgreSQL internals & performance tuning

✅ Exposure to ETL tools (Oracle Data Pump, ODI, etc.)

✅ Knowledge of AWS cloud ecosystem (Aurora, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.)

✅ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
