Job Description – Database DeveloperRole Overview

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with expertise in RDBMS and NoSQL technologies. The ideal candidate should be proficient in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, objects, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.
Work extensively with MySQL and PostgreSQL for database development.
Implement sharding, replication, and clustering techniques to enhance scalability and availability.
Optimize queries and database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Ensure database security, encryption, and compliance with organizational standards.
Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra to design and implement scalable solutions.
Collaborate with application developers and architects to design efficient data models.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development and production environments.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts and practical experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience in database development, query optimization, and transaction management.
Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Knowledge of database security, encryption, and access controls.
Familiarity with replication, sharding, clustering, and high availability techniques.
Understanding of backup and recovery mechanisms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Good to Have

Experience working with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).
Scripting/programming skills in Python, Shell, or similar for database automation.
Exposure to big data technologies and data pipelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
