Job Title: Tech Lead (C/C++) Location: WFO/Gurgaon Department: Engineering Exp- 6-8 years Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead with extensive experience in C/C++ to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will take on a leadership position, mentoring junior engineers, overseeing software development projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy critical systems, while also leading architecture decisions and solving complex engineering problems. Key Responsibilities: Lead a Team: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, promoting a collaborative and results-driven culture. Software Development: Design, develop, and optimize complex applications in C/C++ for high-performance systems. System Architecture: Lead architectural decisions and provide technical guidance for system-level development. Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards, quality, and best practices. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, including performance optimization, concurrency, and memory management. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and other engineering teams, to ensure successful delivery of features and solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest C/C++ trends and technologies, applying them to enhance system performance and development practices. Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specs, system architecture, and user guides. Agile Methodology: Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of features. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role. Expertise in C/C++: Strong proficiency in C/C++ with deep knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms. Performance Optimization: Proven experience in optimizing systems for performance, memory management, and multi-threading. System-Level Development: Strong understanding of low-level systems, operating systems, and hardware architecture. Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex challenges and make sound technical decisions. Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Git or other version control tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multithreading, concurrency concepts, and synchronization techniques. Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools. Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
